On successful completion of the module, students should be able to:

Articulate a familiarity with current Theory on basic issues of Group Leadership, Group Membership and how Groups function.

Recognise the professional and ethical issues in Group Counselling, Guidance and Group work, and have developed their own individual professional policy for groups in the school context.

Reflect on oneself in a group context and have developed awareness and skills from this experience.

Initiate, lead and bring closure to groups with reasonable competence.

Evaluate group outcomes and one's own role as leader in the group process.
