• Reflect on their own language use and define appropriate personal learning targets and actions, in keeping with the Common European Framework of Reference for learning languages
• Demonstrate and develop competency, accuracy, confidence, and fluency in spoken and written Irish, appropriate to a first-year student

• Students must pass the written & reading comprehension skills assessment at a standard in line with 55% at a B2 level in on the Common European Framework of Reference for Language Learning (CEFR). Students are required to undertake an oral examination at B2 level for the purposes of formative feedback. The overall mark for this module will be generated from the examination in written and reading comprehension. Satisfactory attendance in the Gaeltacht and throughout the Cumas na Gaeilge module is a requirement of this module.
