	Overview
	Students will research perspectives on learning in the environment. Students will study the environment of the College and present a report on the possibilities for integration of the curriculum. Students will then link with schools and work with teachers and children to prepare an audit of the immediate environment of the school with a view to constructing an integrated plan for learning. Students will record their research and plans in portfolio format and present their findings to the group as a whole.

	On successful completion of the module, students should be able to: Use the school and local outdoor environment for integrating the curriculum Further engage in independent research and analysis on fieldwork In a combination of college and school settings, design and implement a small integrated outdoor programme of learning Engage children in appropriate outdoor activities Demonstrate to schools opportunities for greater use of the environment in children’s learning
