• Continuous Assessment detail(s): Written examination and oral Irish examination. (Exams must be passed individually at stated minimum pass standard). In Cumas na Gaeilge, that standard is in line with 70% at a B2 level in both oral, and writing & reading comprehension skills on the Common European Framework of Reference for Language Learning (CEFR). Their final mark will be a combination of 50% - oral exam; 50% - written exam

• PASS/FAIL (Students must pass both components - written (70%) and oral examinations (70%) – at a standard in line with 70% at a B2 level in oral language and written & reading comprehension skills on the Common European Framework of Reference for Language Learning (CEFR). The overall mark for this module will be generated through a combination of 50% for the scrúdú cainte and 50% for the scrúdú scríofa). Satisfactory attendance is a requirement of this module
