On successful completion of the module, students should be able to:

Develop an individual interest in a particular aspect of Wellness and Mindfulness that is congruent with their lifestyles and health needs.

Be aware of and practiced in consulting a range of critical sources, including teacher-research, professional documents, conference papers, and journals which pertain to Wellness and Mindfulness in Primary School Education.

Explore various approaches to Wellness and Mindfulness, from both theoretical and practical perspectives.

Engage in critical reflection on their own practices with regard to wellness and mindfulness, with a view to improving them, where and if deemed advisable.

Devise lesson plans which focus on Wellness and Mindfulness and are linked with SPHE, Drama, PE, SESE and other relevant/pertinent Primary School Curriculum areas.
