	Overview
	The project aims to: � engage pupils in collaborative, curricular-based projects � promote mutual understanding between school communities � promote sustainability of the use of technology in schools This module will continue to foster these aims by giving Froebel student teachers an opportunity to manage and monitor a short term cross-community, curricular based project using a model based on the project 'Dissolving Boundaries'. This will be done by combining online collaboration, video-conferencing and face-to-face communication over a period of 9 weeks. Working in conjunction another student in another school, the student teachers will have the practical support and guidance of the elective team to plan and implement a cross-community, curricular based project.

	Learning Outcomes
	On successful completion of the module, students should be able to: Successfully plan, implement and evaluate a Dissolving Boundaries school-based exchange project with one class group (3rd to 6th class) Edit and monitor an online learning environment for pupils (eg: Moodle) Support pupils in producing and sharing online digital content (eg: images, videos, podcasts, blogs, wiki pages etc.) Participate in and manage cross-border video-conferences with the class in the partner school (In conjunction with placement school) plan and manage a face-to-face meeting for pupils, inlcuding planning for learning activities they will undertake when they meet Communicate and collaborate with a mentor teacher in the placement school and the partner school in Northern Ireland Critically evaluate their own and their pupils� learning and collaboration
