• PASS / FAIL. Students must pass each of the three components in this module individually: Cumas na Gaeilge, English Competency and Maths Competency. The pass threshold for each component is 70%. In Cumas na Gaeilge, the standard is in line with 70% at a B1 level in written and reading comprehension skills on the Common European Framework of Reference for language (CEFR). The three components are equally weighted at 33.3%. Students will be required to take written examinations in Irish, English and Mathematics. In addition to the Irish written examination, students are required to submit a Fillteán Foghlama which they must past at 40% Satisfactory attendance is a requirement of this module
