• Conceptualise theories, practices and approaches to leadership in the context of ECCE (birth to six years).
• Reflect on personal leadership styles and practices.
• Appraise the relationship between leadership and power; management; gender; culture and expectation.
• Engage in coaching and mentoring relationships within the ECCE team.
• Create structures, environments and conditions in the ECCE service to support professional inquiry and critical reflection.
• Recognise and support leadership in children
