• Discuss the current state-of-the-art relating to their research;
• Interpret the research in the context of the impact on the particular field;
• Communicate the research effectively;
• Respond to questions and engage in discussion with education specialists and wider audiences.
• The student should present work at a peer reviewed conference and map the process both prior to submission, through reflective journaling, and critically reflect on the presentation in a form agreed with the supervisor.

• Continuous Assessment detail(s): • Delivery of paper at conference with submission of paper to the Departmental Research Student Supervisory Committee • Students must submit their reflective journal tracking the development of their presentation (to include Introduction and Results & Discussion). This documentation will be submitted to the Departmental Research Student Supervisory Committee.
