Courses / Module

Students will explore issues of current concerns for school leaders at national and international level. They will critically evaluate models of educational and organisational leadership to enhance students’ knowledge, ability and skills to manage and lead the organisation. Issues of vision and values, school culture, power and authority in schools will be explored. Students will analyse key policy developments and explore the application of communication skills in school leadership and evaluate national and international indicators. They will investigate practices of curriculum focused leadership and implementing best practice within the school as learning organisation.
