This module aims to develop students’ capacity to design their own, evidence-based well-being interventions and provide them with the necessary knowledge and skills to manage the implementation of the national wellbeing policy in education. It will trace and analyse some key developments in the area of positive education and well-being. It will examine and critique various models of well-being and flourishing, as well as provide students with a list of evidence-based and evidence-informed interventions they can apply in their schools and help them reflect on their advantages and disadvantages. The module will also explore current well-being programmes delivered nationally and internally and examine the mechanisms through which they work
