There are many ways of defining quality in the field of education; definitions that reflect the underlying assumptions about the purpose of education in today’s world. Using historical, philosophical and curricular/pedagogic lenses, this module will examine different perspectives on a fundamental question: what constitutes quality in teaching and learning in the 21st century?
