The first part of this module will look at how government intervention can affect environmental pollution through the use of emission taxes, emission standards and tradable pollution permits. The module will then analyse various techniques used to value environmental resources. The module may also determine the optimal extraction of, and discuss government policy towards, depletable and renewable natural resources. |
