The main objective of this course is to introduce students to the fundamental macroeconomics concepts necessary to understand the rationale behind economic policies and assess critically and autonomously their potential implications for the business environment. These concepts will be introduced through practical examples closely related to the current affairs in Ireland and worldwide. The course will therefore also offer some useful insights on the current development in national and international economic policies which will help the students understand the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. |
