Macroeconomics addresses economic issues at an aggregate level. Emphasis is placed on the measurement of living standards, economic growth, inflation and unemployment. Topics covered include the causes and consequences of fluctuations in economic activity, the role of monetary and fiscal policy and the effects of globalisation.
