This module introduces students to the core issues that affect the behaviour of economic agents. Using a mixture of theory and real-life applications, topics to be analysed include: consumer demand; production and costs; profit maximization; monopoly; perfect competition; oligopoly; monopolistic competition; efficient markets and government intervention.
