The purpose of this module is to allow postgraduate research students to develop and apply the skills required for presenting their research. This module covers the complete set of skills involved in participating in a research conference including: authoring a research paper, the peer review process, and the subsequent presentation of results in poster or oral format at the conference.

The student will write and submit a research paper to the particular peer-reviewed conference, meeting or workshop under the approval of their supervisor. Once accepted, the student will travel to the conference to present the work.
