	Overview
	This module will direct students to read current research papers that support the rigorous software development stream. Students will present and discuss key-concepts from up-to-date research publications, learn how to organise a literature review, how to correctly use references and citations, develop core skills (organisational, expressive, cognitive, reflection), understand qualitative and quantitative analysis and learn computing research methodology.

	Learning Outcomes
	On successful completion of the module, students should be able to: Express the application of the state-of-the-art to a given context. Plan independent research on a topic. Use references to find and cite sources. Present a well organised scientific argument. Critically reflect on a research project.
