This is a co-taught module consisting of seminars delivered by the departments of English, Media Studies, History, Philosophy and/or Classics, as well as the School of Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures. Introductory and concluding seminars will be delivered jointly by academic staff members from the various Departments and Schools. In this module, students explore different disciplinary perspectives and interdisciplinary crossroads in the study of voluntary and forced migration, particularly in relation to the role of narratives, archives and cultural production in mapping, negotiating and transforming the dynamics of (im)mobilities. The module aims at mapping key methodologies and approaches to migration within the theoretical and critical frameworks of the Arts and Humanities.
