	Learning Outcomes
	On successful completion of the module, students should be able to: Describe the format and content of a research paper, a review and a chapter. Critically analyse the content of a research paper. Write a concise and accurate account of a biochemical technique. Write detailed summaries of a number of scientific publications. Compose a succinct abstract for a piece of biological research. Undertake self-directed library research and study. Take personal responsibility for their learning.
