This module aims to equip learners with the knowledge, skills and confidence for successful engagement with study and student life in higher education.
This module guides learners in the digital age as to how to conduct research, write, reference, and follow academic conventions appropriate for preparation for undergraduate level study. Through a guided introduction to the University's student communication platforms, Microsoft Office 365, Teams and Moodle, learners will learn how to engage effectively with on-line teaching and learning.
Learners will also be encouraged to develop the interpersonal, communication and presentation skills required for successful engagement with university study and life.
Learners will also be encouraged to develop their knowledge and confidence in engaging autonomously with students' services, societies and supports.
