• Students who have successfully participated in the course and fulfilled all the programme requirements but are unable to submit the final assignments/thesis due to extenuating circumstances must complete the University's Extenuating Circumstances Form in order to re-register for submission of deferred final assignments/thesis in the following academic year. The Department of Adult and Community Education will review the situation and if appropriate will submit the completed Extenuating Circumstances Form to the Registrar's office for consideration.

• MEd in Adult and Community Education - MHA92 requires a 2:1 in a Higher Diploma in Further Education or equivalent or 2:1 in a relevant Degree or equivalent. Experience in the field is preferable for the purposes of applying to the programme. MEd in Adult Guidance and Counselling - MHA51 requires a minimum 2:2 in a Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance and Counselling or equivalent plus 3 years’ experience in the field.
