This stream will be about applying accounting to understand the world around us. We will not assume students have previously taken accounting as a subject. The focus will be applying accounting to understand a wide range of business and global issues. The modules will be delivered through a series of lectures and tutorials which will incorporate discussion groups and group work.

Understanding the role of management accounting.
Understanding the importance of cost classifications.
Understanding the pricing and costing process.
Preparing business budgets.
